My name is Ilona Erst.
I am a proud founder and owner of American Maids Inc. super service home and office cleaning company! How may we please you with our service today?

Beginning

I may say: I've had quite a bit of experience in different kind of jobs. I have been a bartender, a CS rep, I've done professional translation for years, sold Real Estate and insurance. While being a real estate professional I have noticed that a lot of properties were in great need of really good old fashion scrubbing. Otherwise they would never get sold. With this idea in mind I started American Maids Inc.

I knew very little about professional cleaning. I knew nothing about pricing and managing my own business. I knew only one thing: I can give a real nice make over to those homes and I can do it better than anyone else! I was determined as I knew one thing about myself: if I do something I do it right, I do it proper and give my best. I offered my help to the landlords and got a great respond!

Today

Several years later American Maids has a full staff of wonderful hardworking cleaners and rapidly growing. All of our staff members have their unique personal touch when it comes to cleaning. All of them share one thing in common: they all strive for excellence, always eager to learn something new and are creative when it comes to perfection in cleaning. They do the job right, proper and give their all 200% to go above and beyond to meet clients' expectations.

Helping Others

Being a mother, a pet owner I am just someone like you. My heart always goes out to people and especially children who had to fight life threatening illness.

Since 2008 American Maids has been a proud partner of Cleaning for a Reason - a non for profit organization formed by a residential cleaning business owner. We help clean homes for free for women undergoing cancer treatment. American Maids recently partnered up with Normal Moments Inc, a Chicago based non for profit organization that helps families with seriously ill children go through day to day routine tasks. Cleaning is one of the challenges for such families and American Maids is always there to help!
